Diamond On Ceramic
The heavy duty high arc easy to install Delta Savile Faucet lasts 10 times longer than the industry standard due to the advanced Diamond™ Seal technology.
You cannot see that on the outside, but the hardest and most durable surface known so far to the mankind is used inside the valve to extend its life, make it completely leak proof and eliminate the contact of the water with the potential metal contaminants. On a ceramic disk, there is embedded a thin layer of diamond. So it makes the whole difference.
Magnet Holds The Spray Head In Place
There are also other advanced technologies used in the Savile faucet. Magnatite™ features a strong magnet embedded in the spout which practically excludes any possibility for the spray head to droop. It will always sit perfectly in its place. Also the reassuring click when it settles back adds to the positive user experience.
Even among the most seasoned plumbers, there are those who, having installed Savile for the first time, are surprised how easy it can be done. They also point out the sturdy feel of the faucet.
The ease of the installation is achieved with the special InnoFlex™ waterways technology. All the pipelines are joined together forming a unified system, practically excluding the possibility of leaking.

Inspired By Nature
Most Delta faucet shapes get inspiration from nature. If you release your imagination and try to associate the design with nature objects, the similarity with flowers, leaves and trees turns out to be quite obvious.
The Savile faucet resembles a flower, or rather, a sculpture of a flower. Its conical basement flows into the cylindrical stem that runs all the way to the spray head that hangs like a flower bell. The handle in its turn runs upwards like another newer shoot.
Meaning Of “Savile”
I got really curious why Delta has called this outstanding faucet Savile and I decided to find out what that word meant in order to better understand the philosophy of this “sculpture” faucet. Here is what I found.
There is a street in London called Savile Row that since early times has been famous for the skillful tailors working there. Even though it did not give me any direct associations, I still see a clue.
The Delta company wants to position their Savile faucet as a skillful, hard working, reliable device. Those are the virtues the Savile Row tailors were famous for.
Also the appearance of the faucet has something London-like and tailor-like in it. I remember the sewing machine that my grandmother used. Its lines and curves were quite similar to those of the faucet.
While it may not be easy to spot the difference from any mainstream faucet on the outside, Delta Savile has a few features that make it stand out. It has much longer life, is easier to install and is even more handy in everyday use.
